At Techshed we're building a community of tech makers to enhance skills, teach, learn and create new things
Firstly, we really wanted a tech meetup in Frome that we can go to, meet people, share what we know and work on projects and ideas.
What we’ve come up with uses regular weekly sessions, community projects and public events, aiming to support each other as technical professionals, enthusiasts and learners.
To enable this, simply having somewhere to go, share and create with interesting, like-minded people is our starting point.
Through collaboration and focus on structured, real-world projects we’e building depth of skills and understanding among members, as well as broadening awareness of the opportunities and pitfalls of technology among the wider community, while raising technical resources for Frome by fostering technical and digital creative talent in the area.
When we bring different minds together, we believe awesome things will happen!
